guest directors programme
The acclaimed duo of filmmakers, producers, publishers and video-artists, Ila Bêka and Louise Lemoine, join this edition as Guest Directors. With a selection of films, debates, a walk and an installation, they delve into the symbolic grounds of cinema and architecture to bring together a community of enthusiasts and foster new relationships.
experimental programme
This section brings together architects, artists and researchers to reflect on the discourses rooted in the discipline of architecture and give voice to practices that promote its decolonisation. We invite the public to confront with plural perspectives on the role that spatial practices can have in these processes. This programme is complemented by the newly published book ‘Aprender a Desaprender’ (Portuguese only) published by Dafne and INSTITUTO.

The Porto-based research studio LOCUMENT believes that through cumulative knowledge, film becomes a method for expanding our perception of the narratives that encompass the world we inhabit, revealing the consequences of socio-political decisions that disfigure territories. The selected films and installations present realities that reflect behaviours that shape our environment.
portugal special programme
This programme brings the festival's theme into the context of the hosting country, focusing particularly on the cities of Lisbon and Porto. It seeks to delve into current issues, such as the housing crisis and the effects of tourism, among others. The film programme is complemented by debates with authors, protagonists and invited experts.
