This video installation explores the impact of learning environments on youth development, with the classroom as its central setting. Through models of emblematic school buildings, student testimonies, school furniture, and architectural plans, the installation investigates the role of these spaces in shaping teenage experiences. A guided tour with the curator and associate curator will offer an in-depth reading of the project’s concept and intentions. Classroom. A Teenage View was previously presented at arc en rêve (Bordeaux), the Centro Cultural de Belém (Lisbon), and Z33 House for Contemporary Art, Design & Architecture (Hasselt). This programme is part of the MaisFRANÇA 2025 initiative, promoted by the Institut Français du Portugal.
