The festival’s soft-opening takes place through a walk in Maia, setting the tone for this edition’s theme. The meeting point is at Centro de Documentação João Álvaro Rocha, with a brief visit to its premises and a presentation of social housing projects by architect João Álvaro Rocha. This is followed by a walking route crossing different urban spaces designed by the architect, serving as an anchor for a situated reading of this territory within the Porto Metropolitan Area. The walk ends at Parque-Maia metro station, with a return to Porto for the start of the festival.
