Inspired by Italo Calvino’s Invisible Cities, Ilha Zaira explores the distinct identity of the “Ilhas” of Campanhã in Porto. These small, almost hidden housing enclaves persist within the larger city, revealing how time, memory, and human relationships shape urban experience. The film reflects on how past and present intertwine in these spaces, giving meaning to everyday life within the city.
