From the future, a voice evokes rediscovered images, water, and buried treasures. Developed during a residency at the Wiels Marsh in Brussels, this speculative essay by Sophie Sherman (16mm camera) and Némo Camus (sound) traces an accidental ecosystem formed after halted real estate excavation pierced the water table. In this urban refuge, insects, birds, and humans coexist, revealing a fragile space where life, resistance, and imagination persist.
