Amber-flecked skies and ghostly light frame a procession for the drowned in this ode to Vietnamese boat people who migrated to the U.S. in the early 1980s. As younger generations move toward expanding urban centres, elderly Vietnamese communities remain in the decaying towns of Greater Binghamton. Intentionally unsubtitled, the film adopts a gaze shaped by displacement and loss, reflecting on memory, migration, and abandonment.
