Four researchers document their perceptions as they walk along the stretch of BR-116 that passes through Canoas, Rio Grande do Sul, seeking out individuals whose lives are intertwined with the highway. BR-116 is Brazil’s longest road, it crosses ten states, connecting Fortaleza to Jaguarão on the Uruguayan border, and cuts through Canoas, dividing the city in two. The documentary weaves together testimonies from people who share their life stories.
