Slow Down!
Masterclass by Richard John Seymour
Hosted by Luís Urbano
In partnership with FAUP, filmmaker and architect Richard John Seymour conducts a masterclass on filmmaking and architecture. During and after his masters in architecture, Richard John Seymour developed a body of work related to the themes of the built environment told through the languages of film and photography. The masterclass is focused on film specifically, exploring the ways in which the medium can be used as a tool for understanding, communicating, and even designing our world. Seymour talks through the ideas and methods behind his films ‘Consumed’ and ‘Landscape Healing’, going on to open the discussion to answer technical and practical questions about film-making in general.
