The event, whose motto is “There’s no cinema without Arquiteturas”, celebrates the encounter between cinema and architecture and aims to give greater visibility to national and international talents of contemporary architecture. Besides the exhibition of films, we make part of the program a series of parallel activities where informal talks between personalities from architecture and cinema stand out; a tour of the building of the Faculty of Psychology and Higher Institute of Education, designed by Architect Manuel Taínha between 1986 and 1990 and distinguished as the Valmor and Municipal Architecture Award in 1991; architecture office for children – “Cidades em Movimento”; workshops and masterclasses.
